Zero Waste Market, Homemade Pasta Sauce and Pizza, and More

D'oro Caffe and Gelato, Raisu, Cartem's Donut, Red Robin

I regret nothing...even though this place was $$, the gelato was still really good. They have interesting monthly and weekly flavors too. I got the ricotta cheese and dark chocolate. The chocolate was rich, just how I like it. However, it was kind of difficult to taste the ricotta. The sweetness overshadowed the cheesey flavors.

If I could just go to Rain or Shine, or Earnest, I think I would have. Still, no regrets; gelato is gelato :P

Red Robin is honestly not my favorite place. It's getting pricier, and the quality is meh. These are the vegetarian fajitas, which were not that flavorful; seemed to be missing some key spices.
These are just some other burgers and yummies that my friends ordered.

I'm so happy that Cartem's opened in Kitsilano!! This is the lime cheesecake and honeycomb. Their flavors are amazing, and the dough is a bit crispy and juicy at the same time. They know how to do it right.
This is Jaja-myung's apple fritter. Yum yum.

Also went to Raisu, which is maybe the more expensive chain out of the rest? (Kingyo, Suika, Rajio, Raisu) Not entirely sure, but I felt like I spent a lot more here.

This was so interesting; it's basically a rice bowl, but the bowl and spatula was wooden. It gave a bit of that taste. By the way, the flower was gross. Don't eat it alone, lol.
Sankiupo ordered fish.
This is the orange almond pudding!! SO SMOOTH. Another friend of mine was fighting herself not to get one because she loves pudding, especially almond pudding. All in all, Raisu is definitely worth the price if you're willing to spend maybe $30ish if you want to feel satiated.

Will Be Back

Sorry for the infrequent updates; school can be such a drag.

To make up for that, I'll publish some of my drafts so you can see some pictures of my adventures.

I'll be back once my workload has died down a bit :) take care and keep on eating!
