The moment I saw both of these at the store, I was like "three words: root beer float."
On my rafting trip, the guide recommended Lucia gelato, which was a local gelato company based in Whistler. Apparently, it's pretty popular, so my little brother was determined to get it.
I saw some good quality root beer at the store too (made with cane sugar), so I was like...yo, let's make some floats.
You can REALLY taste the difference between this and a cheap root beer float. It's sweeter and richer. No regrets.
