Going Ham in Gastown

I went a little over budget...I planned on spending $70 CAD, but I spent $80. .__. Well, Gastown was worth, no ragretz.

First, I stopped by Tacofino, but instead of getting a takeout burrito, I decided to dine in. The price for the food is a little outrageous...the burritos are worth it, but these tacos are about $6, and the portion is super tiny. However, I do have to say it tasted pretty amazing. I was okay with the small portion because I knew I was going to pig out at other places >__> This was the pumpkin tostada with cheese, which was very flavorful.

One of Fatmine's tacos. I believe this is pork.
And this is her chicken taco.
Since it's all in the same area, we finally got to try UYU, which was a relatively new ice cream place in Gastown. It's definitely pricey, not the best ice cream, but the aesthetics are fresh, and the fruit is freeze dried :D

They rotate their flavors, and I believe they only have about three flavors available at a time. :/ Kind of sucks if you really enjoyed a certain flavor, and you come back only to find out that it's been replaced.
The green syrup is matcha syrup :P
I also got to try Chouchou crepes :D Apparently, it sits in the same spot in Gastown, on Water Street and Abbott Street (?). The prices are fairly reasonable here, and the crepe batter is really delicious. It's slightly sweet, and it's delicate and soft.

I went to Acme Cafe just because, not realizing that it was more of a diner than a cafe. However, you're allowed to have takeout pastries and drinks. I just ordered a chai latte from here. I like my chai latte to have a kick of ginger and other spices, but this one didn't quite do it for me :/ Didn't try the pastries, but they looked good.

Now this place, Revolver, was super nice :D It smelled so rich, and the interior was cozy and welcoming.
These umbrella holders are also super hipster.
I just got a jasmine tea, and Fatmine ordered coffee. The aroma was so nice <3
Next was Purebread, the Willy Wonka Factory of bakery items. I was so impressed with this place, and it wasn't outrageously expensive.
Look at the size of those meringues :O Each is $4, and I had so much trouble trying to finish one. Since it's so big, the insides were gooey, like a marshmallow :P
I also got a giant ginger cookie and a ginger tumeric tea. Super impressed, both were very tasteful items. :P
Idk how we ended up in Metrotown, but it happened....and so Fonday happened.
By this time, I was definitely feeling super fat, so I didn't order their good looking sandwiches or bakery items ;__; next time...next time.
I got a soymilk grass jelly drink, and Fatmine ordered a coffee jelly drink. Honestly, I had so much trouble trying to figure what I wanted because I wanted to have the milk teas but I didn't want to suffer from lactose pains...aakdjvas. Anyways, I was impressed with the milk tea, one of the best that I've tried.
We went accessory shopping and look what I found :D Jake! Except I didn't tie his legs. It wasn't me. Seriously, he was already like this.
