Old Favorites and Back in Vancouver

I hung out with my old childhood friend, and we decided to hit up some of our favorite places. She's also vegan now, so it makes things really easy for us.

This is the hummus sandwich from Homegrown, which wasn't too fancy but still delicious. I would say this is enough for a nice snack...I was saving myself for ice cream anyways.
Molly Moon's is basically right next door to Homegrown, so this place is pretty much a must. I got the seasonal watermelon sorbet and the earl grey ice cream. I like the hints of earl grey, and the sorbet tasted pretty much like real watermelon. Knowing Molly Moon's they probably used real watermelon.

Another Thai place that my family often visits is Thai Ginger, located in Redmond Town Center. One of my friends also works here :D He's cool. I didn't take many pictures here since I was pretty exhausted that day, but basically the food here is really good and not too expensive.

I told myself that I would probably never go to Provence Mediterranean Grill again because it was kind of pricey, but my mom walked in here...and then we were all there >_> There was a lunch special going on, so it wasn't too bad, but if you ever decide to come here, be prepared to spend at least $15 for a filling meal.

The special that was going on included a selection of a starter and then your entree. We got the tomato soup, caprese salad, and some other salad that my dad ordered. I forgot, lol :/

This was the vegetarian mushroom and cheese ravioli, and honestly, I could not taste the mushroom. By the way, I also don't like mushroom, so not tasting it was perfectly fine for me :D The sauce was rich in flavor, and the ravioli was smooth and rich.
This was Sankiupo's trout and vegetables. The sauce he had was more buttery, which I thought complimented the vegetables.
This was Sankiupo's favorite, which was the seafood spaghetti. I have to admit, the sauce was quite good, not sure what made it stand out. Didnt' try the rest though :P
We've been to Chef Hung's many times, so this was just another visit to a favorite of ours. I think we pretty much ordered what we usually order....enjoy <3

Oh yes, the shaved ice is amazing, I totally recommend it. It's milky and smoooooooth.
