Winter Break Part 1: Chutney's, Sip Thai, Belle Pastry, Boiling Point

Here's some of the places I went over Winter Break.

I had a coupon from Restaurants.com to Chutney's, so my family and I went on Christmas Eve. The food is pricey, but it's really good. I like Indian food because the flavors are very rich, and the naan and/or rice that they provide balances everything out.

A close friend of mine and I reconnected at Sip Thai. I haven't seen her in forever...so it was nice to see her after such a long time. She's also a vegetarian like me, and she usually orders the Drunken Noodles. She was kind enough to even give me a belated birthday present in return for all the years that I've given her presents at school.

We ordered Cherry Almond tea, which had a delicate taste but a stronger aroma. I like tea.
Since I love pumpkin so much, I got the pumpkin curry with purple rice. It's really hard to mess up, and I think it's a good classic.
We also stopped by Belle Pastry, which is one of my friend's favorite places. We ordered macarons; I got a lavendar-flavored one, and she got a lemon-flavored one.

My family also went out to Boiling Point. I'm glad that they've provided options for other dietary restrictions (vegetarian and gluten-free, but for gluten-free you have to notify your server). I went here again and reconnected with another old friend. We got the buy one get one free deal for spicy stinky tofu. I don't have pictures though :/
