Fatventures of Fatmanda (and no Fatmine): Mango Yummy

*Update: I just realized...I accidentally published this post when it had absolutely nothing. Your welcome.

If you want to get fat on Asian desserts, just come here; this is Fatland. Usually, there are lines coming out of this place because it's conveniently placed and its small. Honestly, the prices are a bit high for the quality, but a good place has to make bank, right? There's durian, tofu, mango, tapioca, strawberries, mochi etc. in almost everything you order. One item here could be your cheat meal of the week to keep your leptin levels up and running for good metabolism.

However, being me, I ordered 5 items and shared it with only one friend. I am Fatmanda...who had to work out like a horse the next few days.

Below is the Durian Pancake and the Mango Tapioca drink. The Durian pancake was suuuper good. They used fresh durian <3 My only problem was the lack of innovation for the pancake batter, because they used some type of crepe batter with a lot of eggs. It didn't taste bad, but I was hoping for variety. The drink was quite sweet, but it was combatted with the sour mangoes (yes, even the ripe ones taste sour because of my tongue's adjustment to how sweet the drink was). It was also probably really easy to make; mangoes, condensed milk, tapioca, milk. I somehow finished the whole thing >__>

This is the mango strawberry crepe (the names are so creative, right?) It tasted good, just like any other crepe; sweet, sweet, and sour because of fruit.

Basically this is tofu pudding dessert with mochi, except it's much sweeter that the tofu dessert that is served for dim sum. Filling? Very. Worth? I could make it myself for a dollar.

Here is the toast with mango, strawberry, mochi, and (guess what, a new ingredient!) honey. Not super innovative, but that's how this place gets rich. The bread was surprisingly good; it was crusted with sugar, which is something I don't see that often.
