Dharma Kitchen and Seedling's Beet Brownie ~~ Vegan Adventures

This place isn't too bad. The service was attentive, the atmosphere and colors were pleasing, and the food had good portions. The only downside was that the food was generally too salty.

The Dharma bowl contains marinated tofu, grilled artichoke hearts, eggplant, mushrooms, red onion, bell peppers, zucchini, sun-dried tomatoes, brown rice, and miso gravy. I think the reason for the saltiness was the marinated tofu, tomatoes, and the gravy. I think the miso gravy pretty much dominates the dish.

I shared the Green Goddess bowl with my mom. :P It comes with the same marinated tofu, broccoli, spinach, seaweed, ginger, sunflower seeds, brown rice, and tahini sauce. Again, the tofu was a bit salty, and surprisingly, the broccoli was too. I think this bowl contained a pretty good source of protein; I felt pretty full after the meal. It had a salty/nutty taste.

If you want a sweet dessert, I'm not sure I would recommend this, ahaha. It's a bit sour, but I still liked it. This was the Mango Tapioca Pudding, which was sweetened with brown sugar and thickened with coconut milk. Tropical~~~

On a side note, here's a beet brownie from Seedlings! I honestly have no where to put this picture...so here you go, ahaha. It has a brown-red color, like red velvet cake. It was like a delicately sweet fudge brownie. Yumyum.
